The Michigan Outreach Directory (MOD) contains a public service database where you can find information about professional outreach programs and services based at the University of Michigan. We hope that it will be useful for Michigan’s business and industrial communities, community agencies and developers, educators, health care providers, libraries, local and state governments, social service agencies and the general public.
The Michigan Outreach Directory is provided by the Office of State Outreach within the Office of the Vice President for Government Relations. The State Outreach group fosters a direct line of communication between the University and communities statewide to improve awareness of the University’s resources and outreach activities.
Finding Information in the Directory
Each entry describes a current U-M outreach program. It includes department and contact information, links to their websites or other online resources offered by each individual program. The two basic ways to find information in this directory include “searching” and “browsing”. You have easy access to both of these options from the main page or advanced search options from the Find Programs page.
Events and Other Resources
Please visit our Events page for links to many additional sources of information including public lectures, newsletters, event calendars, performance schedules, videos and podcasts. Additionally, the U-M Resources page lists resources available from each school and college.
U-M Program Managers: How to Submit a Program
U-M outreach program managers can review our Submission Guidelines, then fill out a simple Entry Form to have their outreach program added to the directory. If you need assistance adding an outreach entry, please call us at (734) 764-9256.
