Anatomical Donations Program

Description

The Anatomical Donations Program receives human bodies donated to the University of Michigan Medical School for the education of health professionals and for medical research. It serves those individuals who wish to contribute to society as well as the medical profession through a final act of generosity. Our medical education program could not exist without these donors. Individuals may make arrangements prior to death or their survivors may donate the deceased after death. Following study, the remains are cremated and the ashes are returned to the family or interred at the University of Michigan plot at Washtenong Memorial Park of Ann Arbor.
