Arts of Citizenship Program (AoC)

Arts of Citizenship links the university’s teaching and research in the arts, the humanities, and design to the community through partnerships with community organizations such as museums, libraries, arts organizations, public agencies, and grassroots organizations.
UM faculty and students collaborate with community members on local and regional projects in local history, theater, dance, radio, visual art, architecture, and poetry.
They combine rigorous study with practical community work to produce websites, curricula, dramas, documentaries, park designs, and exhibits. See our website for more information.
