Center for Education of Women (CEW)

CEW advances diversity and inclusion at the University of Michigan by serving as a resource, voice, and advocate to empower women and nontraditional students. CEW provides immediate and ongoing services and financial support needed to ensure educational success and degree completion. Women and nontraditional students are CEW’s primary constituency, but all students are welcome. CEW also serves those who encounter education and career obstacles based on their non-linear paths to, and experiences within, the University community. CEW sponsors a year-round calendar of programs and events, and a full range of services, including counseling, events and workshops, and scholarships. CEW is open to all; our services are free to all U-M staff, faculty, and students, as well as the community.
