Community Organic Gardening – UM-Dearborn

Description

The Community Organic Garden exists to encourage an appreciation of gardening. It is not only a display, but an invitation for you to come and be a part of the community, to work with your hands, to interact with others from the area, and to contribute your ideas and thoughts. The Garden provides vegetable plots for rent, volunteer-managed theme gardens, and a handicap-accessible garden.

New plots are available at the garden for a fee. Most plots are about 20′ x 20′ in size. To reserve a plot, call Rick Simek at (313) 583-6371. Many plots are reserved by March 15 of each year, so call early! For more information please visit our website listed below.
