Environmental Interpretive Center – UM-Dearborn

The Environmental Interpretive Center provides experiential environmental education activities for school children, teachers, university students, as well as civic organizations and residents of the community.

The exhibits and programs focus on issues which affect the quality of life in the Rouge River Watershed. There is a 15 foot model of the Rouge River Watershed which displays human influences, three, short multi-screen videos about the Rouge River, and a new demonstration Rain Garden to help handle stormwater runoff from the building.
