Flute Institute


MPulse is a summer performing arts institute at the University of Michigan on the Ann Arbor campus carrying high school students to exciting new levels of excellence in music performance, music technology, musical theatre, theatre, and dance. The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance is excited to announce its 2012 MPulse summer sessions for high school students.

The Flute Institute is an intensive two-week session of private lessons, master classes, chamber music, structured warmups, ear training, and practice time. Instruction topics include tone, technique, intonation, vibrato, body awareness, performance anxiety, practice techniques, and college preparation.
