Habitat for Humanity at the University of Michigan (HFHUM)

Hundreds of University students take part in the campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit housing organization. Habitat works to eliminate impoverished housing by providing a hand-up, not a hand-out. The group builds and rehabilitates houses with the help of the homeowner families, who must pay for and help build their home.
