Michigan Health Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy

Michigan Health Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy is a ten-week research fellowship program sponsored by the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS) Office for Health Equity & Inclusion (OHEI) for undergraduate students attending any university in the state of Michigan. In alignment with the student’s research and career interest, the academy will provide a research or clinical fellowship experience with a faculty a mentor that will be invested in the development of the student. At the end of the ten-weeks, the participants will have the opportunity to exhibit their research or clinical experience at a research symposium attended by faculty, staff and students at the University of Michigan. Approximately 15 -20 fellows participate in the Michigan Health Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy.
