Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR), Outreach, Partnerships and Implementation Science (OPIS)

Description

Outreach, Partnerships and Implementation Science (OPIS), a core group within the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR), is focused on supporting community engagement in research with UM faculty, community-based service organizations, and practice-based research networks. We aim to educate, fund, connect, and support community-engaged research efforts, to strengthen community-university partnerships to increase community decision-making and action for health promotion, and disease prevention and treatment, and to address research priorities that are directly determined by and reflective of patient and community needs.
