Michigan Math and Science Scholars (MMSS)

The University of Michigan Math and Science Scholars is a program for high school students who are open to the challenges of higher mathematics and sciences. The Michigan Math and Science Scholars program offers three 2-week summer courses at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, administered by university professors. Each course includes a learning and laboratory (if applicable) research component.

Our hope is that the Michigan Math and Science Scholars program will foster and support a diverse community founded on enthusiasm for mathematics and science research and applications. We aspire to encourage and support the mathematicians and scientists of the future, on whom the progress of the next generation relies.
