Migrant Dental Program

Dental students under faculty supervision, participate in providing comprehensive dental care to children of migrant farm workers and limited care to adults with urgent needs. The program uses portable dental equipment near work locations and migrant schools of the families. Dental students gain experience caring for special population groups in unique treatment settings while helping to make dental services more accessible to this population.
