Music Education Summer Masters Program


This intense 30-hour program was designed for the professional music educator and is offered during a five-week, summer session running from the end of June through the end of July. The program can be completed in three summers.

The program offers a combination of graduate course work in core areas of music education (ten hours), music history/ethnomusicology and music theory (six hours), as well as workshops offering both performance study opportunities and practical application of theoretical principles in the various specialty areas (14 hours). Certification for the various methodologies and approaches will be offered across summers.
