Percussion Institute

MPulse is a summer performing arts institute at the University of Michigan on the Ann Arbor campus carrying high school students to exciting new levels of excellence in music performance, music technology, musical theatre, theatre, and dance. Approximately 200 MPulse participants study with distinguished UM School of Music, Theatre & Dance faculty for two or three weeks each summer while experiencing campus life in Ann Arbor.

The Percussion Institute will include timpani, orchestral section playing, 2-mallet keyboard, 4-mallet keyboard, snare drum, world percussion, percussion literature, and instruction in ear training for percussionists.
