Description

PACE is a multi-faceted seminar designed to improve physician awareness, attitudes, ability, and application of communication and therapeutic skills for asthma. The interactive, physician-based training program has been rigorously evaluated and shown to be effective in improving improve asthma morbidity and mortality among children. PACE has been recommended for replication by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Merck Childhood Asthma Network Inc., and in Fall 2007, the program will be disseminated by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (National Institutes of Health) alongside its revised asthma diagnosis and care guidelines.
