Project Inspire

Project Inspire supports schools, community agencies, and U-M students participating in K-12 educational outreach, and serves the local community. Project Inspire provides a Student Speaker Board for K-12 Students, classrooms and community organizations. The Students Speakers Board consists of current U-M undergraduate and graduate students who are available to speak to youth about the importance of a higher education. The student speakers share information about the college-going process and the higher education experience through interactive dialogues, panels, and presentations. Project Inspire provides assistance and support for both existing outreach programs, and the development of new initiatives created by U-M students and student organizations. In 2013-14, 926 students participated in this program.
