Scout Out Engineering Day

Description

Objectives:
A)To introduce girls in grades 4-6 to many different types of engineering through panel discussions, tours and hands-on projects.
A)To make girls more aware of the programs available to women in engineering.
C)To give girls the opportunity to explore a college campus.
D)To expand the involvement of other societies in Society of Women Engineers events.

Held once each semester in the fall and spring on the University of Michigan’s North Campus in Ann Arbor; for Junior Girl Scouts in the Detroit metropolitan and Ann Arbor areas.
