The University of Michigan Physics Olympiad

Description

Rockets whiz, laser beams bounce through mazes, and hot-air balloons rise high in the annual University of Michigan Physics Olympiad.

The main objective of the Physics Olympiad is to provide a healthy and fun academic science competition for high school students.

The Olympiad is always looking for sponsors each year. Virtually any type of business could help sponsor the program. Each sponsor would receive publicity by their logo preprinted on the Olympiad shirts worn by the participating high school students and the Olympiad staff.

Over 170 students and teachers participated in recent U-M Physics Olympiads in May. Come and join us; it’s a fun and rewarding way to provide science education to high school students! Spectators are welcome.
