U of M Health System Volunteer Programs (UMHS Volunteer Services)

Description

The U-M Health System is committed to providing the highest quality of patient care through education, research and service. Volunteers continue that tradition of excellence, building a bridge between hospital and home by serving people who come from across the state for medical treatment.

Volunteers also bring a sense of community into the hospital by working in various capacities such as peer counselors, by escorting patients and visitors throughout the health system, delivering meals to the homebound, sharing arts and entertainment through the Gift of Art program or by simply visiting with patients.

The enthusiasm and compassion volunteers bring to the hospital is priceless.
