UMHS Tobacco Consultation Service (MHealthy)

The MHealthy Tobacco Consultation Service (TCS) is dedicated to assisting individuals who wish to be tobacco free. TCS provides tobacco treatment services in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. We do not lecture or use scare tactics. TCS offers a tobacco treatment program for individuals that includes up to six 50-minute counseling sessions, in person or by phone. Topics covered include preparing to quit, how quitting affects your body, tobacco treatment medications, setting a quit date, how to live free of tobacco and relapse prevention.
Programs are free of charge for U-M employees and U-M Health System patients and community members. Support groups are available upon completion of the program. To register for assistance, call 734-998-6222 or visit www.mhealthy.umich.edu/tobacco
