University of Michigan Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Symposium

Description

The University of Michigan’s annual Reverend Dr. Marting Luther King, Jr. Symposium provides the community with lectures, live performances and exhibits commemorating the messages of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Events take place throughout January. This commemoration is the largest of any in the nation that is sponsored by colleges and universities. More than 75 events are sponsored by various academic and non-academic units, student and staff organizations, and community groups.
